I couldn't think of an ideal place for this, since it doesn't seem to fall into
any of the categories. I ended up adding it to the whitepsace section just after
"DO use curly braces for all flow control structures".

An alternative would be a section dedicated to curly braces (or to grouping
punctuation, in general).

Maybe add a section for "strings"? We've have requests for style guidance for
things like single-quoted versus double-quoted strings, so I could see us
eventually adding more guidelines there.

I don't think we've ever settled on a recommendation. At some point, we should
probably have a discussion with the team and see what people think. My own
personal style has evolved over time and I don't think I even have a coherent
strategy.
