Why did you drop the ASSERT_NO_EXCEPTION here and in the other few 'removeChild'
calls? That doesn't seem to be what this CL is actually doing... Leftover from
previous experiments?

These are useless since it defaults to ASSERT_NO_EXCEPTION anyway.

I'll extract them to a different cl.
