Allow command-line API to pass in selection to preserve. Fix #194.

I changed the syntax a bit. Instead of:

  -s 1,2

Now, it's:

  --preserve 1:2

I used "preserve" instead of "selection" to be less ambiguous about whether this
is *preserving* a selection or *formatting* it. I used ":" instead of "," so
that I can add multi-selection support later for things like Sublime without
confusing the arg parser.

Is that OK?
